The condition can take place in all the 160 bursae in the body. This means that it can occur in any part of the body. However, there are certain parts of the body that experience the condition most. These include the shoulders, ankle, thigh, hip, buttocks, elbow and the knee. The severity varies between individuals and can worsen if medical care is not sort. However, the mild condition can heal on its own.

There are certain common symptoms of the Bursitis. These include pain that increases with movement or pressure, feeling of tenderness, swelling and loss of movement on the affected joints. However, in some cases, the Bursitis is caused by an infection known as Septic Bursitis. In this case, the symptoms are different and include fever, hotness of the affected area and the change of color to red on the area.

Bursitis is sports and occupation related. However, there are a number of other injuries that can lead to the condition. When it comes to sports, there are certain areas that are affected by the Bursitis. They include the tennis elbow, shoulder, clergyman’s knee, buttocks, ankle, thigh and hips. The condition can also be caused by hard blow on the area. In the Bursitis diagnosis, the doctor might use the blood tests, x-ray and A CT scan or the MRI. This is done to eliminate the chances of treating the wrong problem.
